Certificate IV in Marketing [BSB41307]
This qualification introduces the participants to marketing and marketing research. Marketing research covers the collection and presentation of data on the internal and external business environment. It also specifies the outcomes required to implement all aspects of a market research plan (with the exception of specialist statistical design and analysis). It involves conducting research, developing survey tools, gathering data, analysing research information, and preparing research reports. The marketing plan covers identification and presentation of potential marketing opportunities to enable evaluation and selection of viable opportunities; segmenting the market, the profiling of a target or target segments and the development of positioning strategies and implementation activities; analysing consumer behaviour, client services, and the implementation of marketing strategies and the monitoring and improvement of market performance.
