Introduction to Massage Therapy
The history of massage can be traced back as far as 3000 years, before the birth of Christ, and is perhaps the oldest and simplest form of all medical treatment. Massage is one of the easiest ways of attaining and maintaining good health, and something we do naturally. This course is designed to teach the student the basic strokes of massage to aid in relaxation, equipment set up and correct draping techniques. It is the first step for the student who wishes to practice professionally or an introduction for the individual for home use.
